Our Doula Village

We are two local doulas who are passionate about all thing's pregnancy, birth and early parenthood and supporting women throughout this hugely transformative time.

We know that becoming parents is a special time filled with happiness, excitement and joy but a time that can also be overwhelming, isolating and filled with uncertainty.

Our aim is to provide safe, welcoming, non-judgmental spaces to help support and empower you to achieve the best possible start as you embark on all the ups and downs parenting brings.

Our birth informative evenings for expectant parents will ensure you have a good understanding of how labour and birth works, know all of the options available to you, how to navigate the maternity system and advocate for yourselves, what to expect in those early parenting weeks and when, where and how to seek additional support or guidance should you need it.

Our ‘Walk and Talk’ sessions provide the opportunity for some gentle exercise, fresh air, a good chat with other local parents and of course a cuppa and slice of cake. It can seem like such a mammoth task to leave the house in those early weeks and months that often it feels easier to just stay home! Having a place to go where you will find like-minded supportive mummies and daddies who fully understand the challenges and us doulas (Charlotte and Kelly) who can provide a listening ear and are more than willing to watch over, push or cuddle baby whilst you enjoy a hot drink; we think makes all the difference – the success of these sessions speaks for itself!

We really enjoy holding these accessible for all sessions within our community and have lots of ideas for the future – so watch this space!
